This manifesto is inspired by a Russian doll. Russian doll is a set of wooden dolls of decreasing size placed one inside another. A Russian doll was chose as the painting of each doll can be extremely elaborate, and the painters that painted the Russian dolls are often unrecognised.

 

I used the Russian doll concept for my pages to give an element of surprise. As the reader reads on and flips to the centre, the pages gradually becomes smaller to show the extremely elaborate work of a baby Russian doll and this relates well to the urgency of the message. As the reader reads on, the pages become back to the normal size to show the closure of the Russian dolls.
